ABOUT

Bonjour Fashionable Collegians! My name is Olabisi, but most people call me Bisi (i.e. pronounced like the alphabet A-B-C or BC-Before Christ or Boston College. Lol). As indicated by name, I am of Nigerian descent, but I was born here in the U.S. and currently live on Long Island. In 2010, I graduated from Mount Holyoke College (i.e. the first women’s college of the Seven Sisters and the oldest women’s college in the world) wherein I majored in African American and African Studies. After graduating from MHC, I have had the pleasure of interning and working for a wide variety of established companies such as: Global Brands Group, Barneys New York, Victoria's Secret, Coach, Calvin Klein, etc. You can check my LinkedIn page to get more detailed insight on my career in the fashion industry.

As a former undergraduate student, I found that there was a void in the fashion industry that specifically caters to  college students that have a genuine interest in fashion. Thus, The Fashionable Collegian serves to satisfy the interests of collegiate fashionistas! Please email me with anything you would like for me to cover on this blog. I will try to do my best with answering emails. With that said, I welcome you to
The Fashionable Collegian experience! Merci beaucoup!
XOXO,
